Chicken and Vegetable Stir-Fry

  • In a medium bowl, combine the chicken strips with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  • Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the onion, red bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas, and carrot.

  • Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  • Add the garlic and ginger to the skillet and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the chicken broth and stir to combine all ingredients.

  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly and everything is heated through.

  • Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
